Reach out! We will be happy to help with any pre-sales questions.
Do I need a cookie banner?
No. Clickport sets no cookies and stores no personal data, so analytics alone does not trigger a consent requirement. It is GDPR compliant by design, and every visitor is counted, not just the ones who click agree.
Will the script slow my site down?
No. The tracker is a single deferred script of about 2 KB. It loads after your page, off the critical path, so Core Web Vitals stay untouched.
Where is my data stored?
In Germany, start to finish. Visitor data is ingested and stored on Hetzner infrastructure, and backups stay with the same provider in Falkenstein. Nothing routes through a US cloud, a third-party CDN, or an external pipeline on the way.
Can I run Clickport next to Google Analytics?
Yes, and it is the recommended way to start. The snippet coexists with any other analytics tag, the two never interact, and nothing about your site changes. Compare the numbers for a month, then decide. Removing either one is a one-line change.
Does it work with WordPress and site builders?
Anywhere you can paste a script tag. WordPress users can install the plugin instead; every other CMS, shop system, or static site works with the same one-line snippet.
What happens when the 30-day trial ends?
Nothing is charged, because there is no card on file. You pick a plan to keep tracking, and your dashboard, settings, and history stay in place either way.
