Activity log
The Activity section in Settings is your account's audit trail: a running record of every important action, newest first. Who logged in and how, what changed, what was exported. It answers "was that me?" and "when did I change that?" without guesswork.
What gets recorded
- Security: logins (including which method: password, password with 2FA, Google, GitHub), password changes, email address changes, two-factor authentication turned on or off, recovery codes regenerated, and devices logged out remotely.
- Sites: sites added, site settings changed (domain, timezone, report settings), site deletion requests, and API keys created or revoked.
- Goals & segments: every save to a site's goals or saved segments.
- Billing: new subscriptions, switches between monthly and yearly, and cancellations.
- Exports: CSV exports, PDF reports, and full data exports (both when one is requested and when the ZIP is downloaded).
IP addresses on security events
Security entries show the IP address the action came from, directly under the entry. That is the detail that lets you spot a login that wasn't you. In line with our data minimization approach, IP addresses are stored only for security events. Everyday actions like editing a goal or exporting a CSV are recorded without one.
Retention
Entries are kept for 12 months and then deleted automatically. Twelve months covers a full annual cycle of renewals and reviews without keeping account history forever.
Filtering and older entries
The tabs above the list narrow it to one category: Security, Sites, Goals & segments, Billing, or Exports. The list loads 50 entries at a time; Load more at the bottom fetches the next page.
Where to find it
Sign in, click your avatar in the top-right, then Settings. In the sidebar, choose Activity. It sits between Security and Subscription.
