Customize the KPI row

The numbers above the graph are yours to arrange. Put Revenue next to Visitors, drop the ones you never look at, and the row stays that way every time you open the site.

Open the row

Press and hold any number for a moment. Every number gets a faint frame and a small ×, and a strip appears under the row. A quick click still does what it always did: it switches that number's line on the graph.

You can also go to Dashboard settings, find KPI row and click Edit. You land on the dashboard with the row already open.

Move a number

Drag it. A blue line shows where it will land, and it stays there when you let go. You don't have to let go after the hold: keep pressing and drag straight away.

With the row open, you can also Tab to a number and move it with the left and right arrow keys.

Hide a number

Click its ×. The number moves to the strip under the row, and if its line was on the graph, the line goes too. Click the number in the strip and it returns to its old place.

Hiding only changes what the row shows. The data keeps coming in, and the panels, exports and reports stay the same. One number always stays, so the last one has no ×.

Finish

Changes save as you make them. Click Done, press Esc or click anywhere outside the row to close it. Reset brings back every number in the standard order.

Use one row on all your sites

Each site keeps its own row, so a shop can lead with Revenue while a blog leads with Scroll. To use the same row everywhere, click Apply to all sites in the strip. The link shows how many sites you have.

It's a one-time copy. It replaces the row on every other site, and after that each site is on its own again. A site without goals or revenue leaves those numbers out.

Good to know

  • Your row is yours. Teammates on the same site keep their own, and yours follows you to your other devices.
  • Anyone on a site can do this, viewers included.
  • Some numbers need data to appear. Conversions and Conv. Rate need goals, and Revenue needs revenue in the selected range. They keep the place you gave them.
  • Editing needs a wide screen. The row opens for editing in windows wider than 1024 pixels. Phones and tablets show the row you set up.
  • Share links show the standard row, with every number in the usual order.
